WHAT IS PYHÄKURU ADVENTURE BUS?

Pyhäkuru Adventure Bus is our brand-new concept during winter: we bring adventurers from Rovaniemi, Kemijärvi and Luosto straight to Pyhä Fell for a full day in the Arctic fells – either flying on ziplines and climbing cliff routes in our adventure park, or exploring Pyhä’s unique winter activities.

What is the Pyhäkuru Adventure Bus? It’s a winter bus transfer from Rovaniemi to Pyhä. Operates Wed, Thu, Fri and Sat, 9:00–19:00.

WINTER DAY TRIPS FROM ROVANIEMI TO PYHÄ FELL

Pyhäkuru Adventure Bus is a new and unique day-trip concept that takes you from Rovaniemi directly to Pyhä Fell – home to Finland’s only year-round cliff adventure park and the landscapes of the Pyhä–Luosto National Park. The trip is designed for travellers, families and groups who want to experience more than the city of Rovaniemi and enjoy a true Arctic fell day easily in one package.

The bus operates during winter season on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and during the day you can choose between two different experiences:
– Adventure Day at Pyhä Fell (Pyhäkuru Adventure Park experience + transport)
– Explore Pyhä National Park (guided welcome introduction + unique activities + transport)

It all starts from one goal: to make Pyhä’s fell experiences easily accessible also for travellers who do not have a car.

In the adventure park you will experience:
– ziplines across the canyon
– climbing routes on snowy rock walls
– an ice wall
– high bridges
– warm drinks on the fell-view terrace
– guidance from a professional instructor and all safety equipment included

After the adventure, you will have several hours to explore Pyhä’s other highlights: the Amethyst Mine, the ski slopes, fell hiking trails, or the cafés and viewpoints.

2) EXPLORE PYHÄ NATIONAL PARK – GUIDED WELCOME TOUR (89 €)

Do you want to experience Pyhä, but prefer not to do the adventure activities?
This package includes transportation and a 1-hour guided introduction tour with a Pyhäkuru Adventure Park guide. During the tour:

– you will hear about the history and significance of the area
– you will receive a comprehensive information package about Pyhä–Luosto National Park
– we will go through the main sights and the best activities of the day
– you will receive a printed map and tips for exploring on your own
– you will see the adventure park’s canyon and ice walls up close

You can spend the rest of the day in Pyhä however you like: visit the Amethyst Mine, enjoy the ski slopes, go hiking, join a yoga session, admire the scenery or have lunch with fell views.
